The Reverie in Performing Songwriter Magazine
The Reverie has been picked as one of Performing Songwriter Magazine's top DIY CDs in their June issue. This is a great honor and a personal thrill, for when I was first starting to write and do open mics, I would wait impatiently for every Performing Songwriter issue and then devour each page. It was glossy proof that there was a community of people in the world who felt as passionately as I did about music, especially at a time when it was becoming more and more obvious that Rolling Stone wasn't covering the artists who I most admired (don't even get me started on Spin).
